Tonight we went over to our friends house for dinner. He had told me that he purchased the song Monster by Skillet for Rock Band 2 and I thought it would be fun to let my daughter grab the mic and sing. He put it on 'no fail' for her so she could just have fun with the song. We put her on easy and when the song had ended it gave her a 100%. So we took off 'no fail' and tried her on medium. She got a 98%. So we put her on hard and as you can see, she nailed it with a 94%. AWESOME!!!! We moved her up to expert and she got a 79% without failing once. I am very proud of my little girl. You can see the video of her singing on medium difficulty here.

The Awesomeness of being a Dad

This pic was taken yesterday morning. Both of my older children woke up within 10 minutes of each other and both immediately came to sit on my lap. Normally they want something to drink or eat, or they want to watch something, but this morning, they just wanted daddy. Awesome. They lingered for quite some time. Enough time for me to really savor the moment and take a quick pic with the iMac. Life is awesome.

Clensliness is close to awesomeness

If you look at yesterday's post you will see that I said something about my phone not working. Well Amanda and her sister came over to watch the kids tonight and she heard about it and took my phone. This is what she got out of the back of my phone and now I can take pictures just fine. Pretty awesome what a teenager can do for a phone when armed with a toothpick. THANKS AMANDA!

My awesome slippers

I got these awesome shoes a while back. They are probably the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned and they were under $8.
My phone is acting up, so I might miss a few days here. I hope I can work it out soon, but it is harder to get impromptu pictures when the phone isn't working right.

2 Moms of Awesome

I am very thankful for these 2 awesome moms. My children are blessed to have their mother. I have been blessed by my mother and the blessings keep coming. I don't know where I would be without these women in my life. There is so much in this picture. Two amazing lives honoring God and serving those around them; particularly their children. It doesn't get much more awesome than this.

Wings of Awesome

I've decided to stop numbering my posts. There are only so many ways you can title a post when you are putting the number on there.
Also, I missed yesterday mainly because my sleep schedule was off because I went to go see the midnight showing of Iron Man 2. Needless to say, it was awesome. Go see it if you can.
Anyways, back to the pics...
This is a tray full of Wing Stop's wings, fries and AWESOME blu cheese dip. I was addicted to Wing Stop for the longest time and had to separate myself before I started a gambling addiction to pay for my Wing Stop addiction. Today was the first day in months and months that I have had Wing Stop. It. Was. Awesome. The manager still remembered my name and asked me where I have been. :)

50 Posts of Awesome and still going!

So this is a big deal for me because I haven't been able to commit to a blog for this long so happy 50th to me!
Anyways, this H2 belongs to an awesome guy at our church named Steve. He was a Ranger and his arms are bigger then my thighs. He is a big guy and he drives a big vehicle and he let me drive it to take a few guys out for lunch. You Rule Steve! I think I look pretty good in it.

49th Day of Awesome even without a picture

So yesterday was just a CRAZY DAY, and I had to get up really early today, so I didn't post. I was but I hadn't spent any personal time in the Bible so I did that instead of posting. God is the original Awesome and you can't really have one picture that represents him.

Post number 48 of Awesome

Did you know that if you put the waffle iron on a low cook setting that you won't smell anything burning if you forget to take out the last waffle of the batch? It's like an Awesome waffle version of Ebony and Ivory. Ebony, Ivory, livin in perfect haaaarmony...

48th Day of Awesome it is

I won this guy when I was 16 at a Safeway in Lamar. For most of his life with me he has made his home in my bedroom. However, there came a point in my daughter's life where she was so scared of the sight of him that we had to find a few foster homes to host him. I started to miss him so I bought the animated Clone Wars movie and had my kids watch it with me. After seeing Yoda as the good guy they were very accepting of him being back home with us.
Around the time Yoda returned home my daughter started having nightmares of monsters coming after her (none of them were Yoda). One night we decided to have a camp out downstairs where Yoda was staying and before bed we talked about her nightmares. I posed the question, "Who scares away monsters?" I was hoping she would say Daddy or God, but she pointed to Yoda. That night she didn't wake up because of monsters in her dreams. Ever since that night Yoda has stood guard in the corner of her bedroom keeping an ever vigilant watch for those pesky monsters. Awesome this is.

Two Awesome Posts (46&47) for the Price of One!

So I have been sick and forgot to do my blog yesterday. The pic above was a fun moment. I was sitting at the dinning room table and I hear "YES!". I look over and see my little girl beaming with pride and I ask her what happened. She points at this and gives me a look that says, "Yeah, that's right. I did that." It wasn't so much the actual accomplishment that I think is awesome, it was her pride in her accomplishment.

And just moments ago, while I was writing the description above my son starts yelling, "Daddy! A circle! Daddy! A circle!" He was also rather proud of his accomplishment. Daddy is proud of both of them. I have two very awesome toddlers.
