Awesome Day 15

My friend Dusting (leaf shirt) just had a baby. Well his wife did, but he was there and helped...you know what I mean. So we go to visit today and I thought I spied some "It's a Boy!" cigars. They turned out to be bubble gum. So we all grabbed one and posed for the camera. Baby Cole is a welcomed part of the family and we will all do our part to help make him into an awesome man who follows God. Also he has one of the fake cigars in his mouth.

14th Awesome Day

This picture represents my morning. Every Tuesday morning my wife has Bible Study and the kids get to spend time with their little friends. This morning my daughter was unable to join her friends in her because of a sickness, so she was stuck with me. Now normally she is unhappy when she doesn't get to play, but when we told her she was going to have to stay with daddy she responded with excitement and joy. Knowing that she would rather spend time with me then her friends makes me feel pretty awesome.

Awesomely blessed 13th Day

Today was very awesome because of the extra alone time Miranda and I had together. This is us going out for Chinese. Notice the empty back seat. Awesome. See day 9 to see the wonderful couple that took the kids for the evening.

12th Day of Similar Awesomeness

The awesomeness of this picture works on many levels.
1. This is my friend Aaron. He is awesome.
2. He is a gifted musician and worship leader which makes him more awesome.
3. For whatever reason he lets me play with him. Awesome.
4. People tell us we look alike, which is a high compliment to me because of his obvious hotness. Awesome.
5. We are wearing very similar outfits and we didn't plan it which is pretty awesome.
6. My fly is obviously down. Embarrassingly awesome.
7. Getting you to search my picture looking for a unfastened fly when it really wasn't. Awesome.

Awesome #11

This is what I have been taking my photos with so far. It is my phone. It has an 8MP camera in it. Pretty awesome to have around when I am doing a picture of the day blog.

10 Days of Awesome

We had some friends we used to be in a LifeGroup with come over tonight for dinner. It was good to catch up and hang out. It's funny how people act when you are taking a picture of them and they are pretending they don't see you. Awesome.

Today I had to go to the doctor's office and we had some friends watch our older two children.

Weird angle cause I had to take it when Kyle wasn't paying attention. Bad picture. Awesome friends.

This picture was taken not even 4 hours after the picture I took on the longboard. It was pretty nice outside and then suddenly we were covered in snow. Colorado Weather...Awesome.

Awesome 7th Day

So I have a new hobby. This was taken on a wonderfully smooth road with some easy downhill. Longboarding is pretty awesome.

Sick but still Awesome Day 6

This is us sitting on the bed at the doctor's office together. We all have colds which isn't very awesome. But as the old adage goes, "misery loves company." This is probably the best way to deal with a cold.

Noisy, Awesome Day 5

That is my dog Hunter. He is a beagle. Beagles are pack dogs. Beagles also have a wonderful howl. This is us trying to make him feel like a part of a real pack. The Matteson Pack. Pretty awesome making some noise together.

Awesome Day 4

This morning the weather people said there were going to be AM snow showers. I went to work and this is what I saw.

Not a cloud in sight. I was struck by how amazingly big and blue the sky is. I think it stood out because I was expecting cloudy, windy, snowy weather. Awesome.

Awesome #3

I have decided this is the most awesome frosting available at Wal*Mart. Pulled it out to put on a couple of cupcakes and found myself not really needing or even wanting a cupcake to put it upon.
